Terms of Use

Last updated: August 2026 · Applies to the Raid & Rescue iOS app and this website

These terms cover the Raid & Rescue app, its backend service, and this website, all operated by Diretek Solutions, LLC, a company registered in Texas, United States. Installing the app or using the site means you accept them.

1. Who may play

Raid & Rescue is not directed at children under 13 — or under the higher minimum age where you live, which is 16 in some countries. Do not create an account if you are below that age. If you are under 18, play only with your parent or guardian's permission, and their permission is required for any purchase.

2. Your account

First launch creates a guest account tied to your device. You can upgrade it to an email login or Sign in with Apple, and doing so keeps everything you have earned. Keep your credentials to yourself; anything done from your account is treated as done by you. There is no recovery for guest accounts, because there is nothing to recover with — if you care about your progress, or about anything you have paid for, upgrade the account.

One account per person. Do not share, sell or transfer an account, and do not create accounts to evade a suspension or to farm rewards.

3. Callsigns and conduct

Callsigns are public on the leaderboards, so they are moderated. Do not pick one that is hateful, harassing, obscene, or impersonates someone else. We can reject or reset a callsign, and in serious or repeated cases suspend or delete an account.

Beyond that, do not:

  • modify the app, tamper with the simulation, or submit fabricated results to the boards;
  • hammer the API beyond ordinary play, or work around rate limits and version gates;
  • manufacture currency, prizes, research or entitlements by any route other than playing the game or paying for them;
  • attempt to reach other players' data, or any part of the service not meant for you;
  • reverse-engineer the app except where the law says you may.

Matches are re-simulated from their recorded seed. Fabricated results are detectable, and we remove them — along with anything they earned.

4. The game is served, and it changes

Raid & Rescue is under active development, and the parts that matter most are decided by our servers rather than by the copy of the app on your device. Missions, difficulty tiers, unit balance and prices, payouts, the research ladder, prize tables and the store's exchange rates are all tuned live, sometimes daily, and sometimes in ways that change the value of progress you already made. We may add, change or withdraw features, run limited-time content, and take the service down for maintenance.

Battles run offline. Everything else — leaderboards, the Research Lab, the War Chest, prize boxes, cross-device sync and new content — needs a connection. Older builds are eventually retired: when your build falls below the supported minimum, the app blocks play until you update.

We give no guarantee of uptime, and we may discontinue the service. If we retire it for good, we will give reasonable notice where we can.

5. Purchases — the War Chest

Most of the economy is earned by playing: BattleCoins, Blueprints, prize boxes, unit mark cards and research all come out of battles. The War Chest additionally sells, through Apple's in-app purchase system:

  • War Bonds — a consumable premium currency, sold in packs, spendable in the game on BattleCoins, Blueprints and researcher slots at the exchange rates published in the app at the time you spend them;
  • Commissions — permanent, one-time unlocks. The Ad-Free Commission stops the game ever offering you an ad; the Research Aid Commission continues your research lines without a manual tap.

Prices are set in the App Store and shown in your own currency before you confirm. Apple takes the payment, holds the billing relationship and handles refunds; we never see your payment details. Commissions can be restored on your other devices, or after a reinstall, from the account you bought them with. War Bonds are consumable and are not restorable — they are credited to your account when the purchase clears, so keep the account.

A purchase credits nothing until our server has verified the receipt with Apple. If Apple refunds a purchase, or withdraws Family Sharing access to it, we take the goods back: a refunded Commission is revoked, and refunded War Bonds are debited even if you have already spent them, which can leave your balance negative until you earn or buy it back.

War Bonds, BattleCoins, Blueprints, prizes, cards, research and Commissions are a licence to use features of the game, not property. They have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money or transferred between accounts, and do not survive the deletion of your account or the retirement of the service. We may change what they cost and what they buy, as described in section 4.

6. Prize boxes and randomness

Prize boxes drop from missions and from a daily track, and their contents are random from a published table. You cannot buy a prize box, or any other random reward, with real money or with War Bonds. Everything sold for money is exactly what its description says it is. The daily prize track requires a callsign, which means registering the account — that costs nothing.

7. Advertising

There is one ad in the game and you choose whether to see it: catch a supply crate during a battle and you may open it sealed, in which case a short rewarded ad plays first, or decline and nothing plays. Declining costs you only that crate's bonus. Ads are served by Google AdMob and are requested non-personalised; the privacy policy sets out exactly what Google receives. We may change where and how often ads appear, subject to the Ad-Free Commission, which permanently removes them for holders.

8. Ownership

The app, its code, art, audio and this website belong to Diretek Solutions, LLC. You get a personal, revocable, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the app for your own entertainment, on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service. That is all the licence conveys.

Raid & Rescue is an original work paying homage to Rescue Raiders (Sir-Tech, 1984) and Defender (Williams Electronics, 1981). It contains no original code, art or audio from either, and it is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by their rights holders. Trademarks mentioned belong to their owners.

9. Your data

The privacy policy explains what we collect and why, and it forms part of these terms. Note in particular that complete recordings of your battles are uploaded and retained, and that your callsign, score and country are public on the leaderboards.

10. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from within the app. We can suspend or terminate an account that breaks these terms. Deletion is permanent and takes your progress, your balances and your Commissions with it, and it does not entitle you to a refund of anything you bought.

11. Apple

Apple is not a party to these terms, and we — not Apple — are solely responsible for the app and its content. Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for it. Should the app fail to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any; to the maximum extent permitted by law Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever. We are responsible for addressing any claim that the app or your use of it infringes intellectual property rights, and for any other player claim arising from the app, subject to the limits below. You confirm you are not in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as terrorist-supporting, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

12. No warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free, nor that progress, balances or purchases will never be lost to a fault.

13. Limitation of liability

If you are unhappy with the service for any reason, your sole remedy is to stop using it and delete your account.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Diretek Solutions, LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost progress or lost profits, arising out of your use of the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app and in-app purchases in the twelve months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim; if you have paid nothing, we have no monetary liability to you. Some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions, in which case they apply only as far as they legally can.

14. Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms. The date at the top will change, and material revisions will be surfaced in the app. Continuing to use the service after a revision means you accept it.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas and the federal laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The courts located in Texas have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except that either of us may bring a claim in small claims court. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, nothing here deprives you of the protection of the mandatory law of the place you live.
